Mr. Amit Saboo - Director

Mr. Amit Saboo is the Managing Director and CEO of Shapoorji Pallonji’s Port business. He also works in the Shapoorji Pallonji Group family office focusing on investments of the family in Infrastructure assets across the world including India.

Previously, Mr. Saboo was a Director Investments at 3i’s $1.2 billion India Infrastructure private equity fund. He has worked with a number of business across the infrastructure sector including Ports, Roads, Power Generation & Distribution and EPC. He has deep knowledge of the infrastructure sector and strong relationships across developers, intermediaries, investors and the government. Previously he was Director in KPMG’s Advisory practice and spent 11 years with a large focus on Infrastructure.

Mr. Saboo is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a commerce graduate from Sydneham College, University of Mumbai.

Mr. Kartik Desukar - Whole-time Director

Mr. Kartik Deuskar holds a bachelor’s in engineering from VJTI (Mumbai University) and MBA from IIM Indore. He has 15+ years of experience of investing, developing and growing infrastructure projects globally. He has deep experience across all sub sectors of infrastructure like power, roads & bridges, ports, transport & logistics etc and has developed projects in Asia and Africa.

Prior to joining Shapoorji Pallonji Group, Kartik has worked with reputed organisations like InfraCo Asia and IDFC.

Mr. Sanket Shah - Company Secretary and Compliance Officer

Mr. Sanket Shah has an overall experience of 13+ years in Compliances, Governance and Secretarial and Legal Matters for both equity and debt listed entities.

He has experience across various sectors like IT and Engineering Solutions, Media, Healthcare, Real Estate, Infrastructure companies. During his stint he has been involved in various fund-raising transactions, mergers and acquisitions, Restructuring of companies at group level. He has been involved in CSR activities, setting up of Trust, managing FEMA compliances.

He has joined Shapoorji Pallonji Group in September 2021. Prior to joining, he has worked with Essel Group, Metropolis Healthcare, Soham Builders, Godrej group.

Sanket Shah is a Commerce Graduate, Masters in the field of Law and a qualified Company Secretary by Profession.
